This Privacy Policy describes how MHX Media ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the BackTrackR iPad application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping things simple.

Summary

BackTrackR stores your songs and settings locally on your iPad. We do not operate user accounts, we do not sell your data, and we do not use analytics or advertising trackers in the App.

Information stored on your device

The App stores the following data locally on your iPad:

• Imported songs and audio stems
• Song library metadata (titles, playlists, cue lists)
• Mixer settings and mix presets per song
• App preferences and widget layout configurations

This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to MHX Media servers.

Cloud import (Dropbox and OneDrive)

If you choose to import songs from Dropbox or OneDrive, the App uses standard OAuth sign-in provided by those services. Authentication tokens are stored securely in your device's Keychain.

Cloud access only occurs when you actively choose to browse or import files from your own account. We do not access your cloud storage without your action, and we do not receive or store your cloud account credentials on our servers.

Information we do not collect

BackTrackR does not:

• Require you to create an account with MHX Media
• Collect personal information such as your name or email address through the App
• Use analytics, crash reporting or advertising SDKs that track you across apps or websites
• Sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes

File sharing

The App supports iOS file sharing, which allows you to access App files through the Files app on your iPad if you choose to enable it. This is entirely under your control.

Background audio

BackTrackR uses background audio capability so playback can continue when the App is in the background during a live performance. No audio is sent to external servers.

Children's privacy

BackTrackR is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
